My name is Gena and I have had a 40 year plus  fight with migraines. I am writing this page to help chronicle my fight.  Rather than bog down the web site “our story” with all the gory details, I decided to put them here instead. Most excited to report that I have several blends that are really helping a lot for me, always check with your doctor. Sometime, 1977 – Serious car crash resulted  in whip lash but didn’t learn until 9 years later.  My first migraine was the night of the car crash. Mar 16, 2006 Imitrex started for migraines. Actually works, use it several times a month initially.    Fast forward 10 years until July 02, 2016 June 2016 – Started having migraines daily. Went to Dr and prescribed Topamax.  Topamax has a number of very serious side effects including severe tingles, confusion at times. Overall feeling of slowed thinking. August 2016 – Quit taking Topamax, tingles went away, felt more clarity in thinking. Oct 14, 2016 – Getting to almost daily use of Imitrex, trying to figure out alternatives. Attempt cold turkey from Imitrex, full blown migraine kicks in, 12 hours later I give up the fight and take another Imitrex, awww, life is good.  February 10 2017 – Migraines continue daily with only remedy to use Imitrex on daily basis.
